4.2.2.1 Production requirements. Purchaser shall provide ozone production requirements for the facility. The production requirements shall include the minimum, rated, and maximum production rates at the maximum or average cooling water temperature and the rated ozone product gas concentration.
4.2.2.2 Number of ozone generators. The purchaser shall indicate the number of ozone generators required, including the number of duty and standby generators to meet the capacity requirements of the system. The purchaser shall also indicate the number of duty and standby units needed for the ozone generator support systems including the LOX storage and vaporization systems, GOX pressure-reducing valves and fittings, cooling water pumps, ozone dissolution systems, ozone destruct systems, and other related facilities. 4.2.2.3 Ozone product gas concentration. The purchaser shall indicate the ozone concentration range from minimum to maximum and the rated ozone concentration.
4.2.3 Plant water flow and water quality.
4.2.3.1 Maximum, average, and minimum treatment plant flow rates. The purchaser shall indicate the maximum, average, and minimum treatment plant flow rates.
4.2.7.2 Functional testing. Functional testing serves to demonstrate the operation of individual equipment and the system collectively after site installation. The purchaser shall provide testing scope to include operations consistent with the control description, generation capacity, turn down, staging, and automation of the individual equipment and the system as a whole. Functional testing is described in Sec. 6.2.
4.2.7.3 Generator performance testing. The purchaser shall indicate the operating conditions for evaluation of operating costs including ozone production rates, ozone concentration, open-loop cooling water temperatures, number of units tested, equipment included in total electrical load, and testing period duration. Generator performance testing is described in Sec. 6.3.
4.2.8 Maintenance and repair services.
4.2.8.1 Inspection and equipment calibration. The purchaser shall indicate the level and frequency of inspection services and equipment calibration to be provided by the ozone system supplier, if applicable, including services to be provided during construction and after the equipment has been placed into normal operation.
4.2.8.2 Scheduled maintenance. The purchaser shall indicate the level and frequency of scheduled maintenance to be provided by the ozone system supplier, if applicable, after the equipment has been placed into normal operation.
4.2.8.3 Special maintenance. The purchaser shall indicate the level and frequency of special maintenance to be provided by the ozone system supplier, if applicable, after the equipment has been placed into normal operation.
4.2.9 Layout drawings. The purchaser shall indicate the system layout, piping, electrical, and control system drawings to be provided for the ozone generation equipment.
