BS EN 4613:2021 pdf free download – Aerospace series – Spherical plain bearing in corrosion resisting steel with self-lubricating liner, narrow series – Dimensions and loads – Inch series.
This document specifies the characteristics of a bearing, spherical plain in corrosion resisting steel with self-lubricating liner, narrow series for aerospace applications.
These bearings are not intended for use of moving parts especially for control mechanisms and operating systems. They shall be used in the temperature range —55 °C to 163 °C.

Symbols of limit deviations are in accordance with definitions of ISO 1132-1.
a = maximum angle of tilt of the inner ring with respect to the outer ring, with the spherical raceway of the outer ring being completely in contact with the inner ring (see Figure 1 and Figure 2);
Ca = permissible static axial load;
C = permissible static radial load;
8 Quality management systems
The manufacttirers operations shall be an approved production organisation for aerospace products and shall demonstrate that it has implemented and is able to maintain a quality management system (e.g. according to EN 9100 or an equivalent aerospace accepted and established quality management system).
The qualification procedure for aerospace standard products (e.g. according to EN 9133 or an equivalent aerospace accepted and established qualification procedure) shall be used and documented according to the specified tests II not otherwise agreed between customer and supplier.
